The center is located on the University of Georgia's Tifton Campus and next door to the Nationally Environmentally Sound Protection Agriculture Laboratory (NESPAL). Our staff has access to Georgia's entire University System, from the University of Georgia in Athens and Georgia Tech in Atlanta to the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Fort Valley State College in Fort Valley and Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, along with others.

Technical assistance, business management services and business plan development is available through our staff in conjunction with the University of Georgia's Small Business Development Center.

Guidance with patent application.

Many of our clients' projects involve dealing with intellectual property and proprietary information. Our team helps companies decide if a patent is appropriate and, if so, helps streamline the application process.

On-Site Business Incubator

Business Incubator space is one of our signature services; pioneering companies can rent on site office space in our 100,000 square foot facility. The facility offers up to ten 120 square feet to 240 square feet offices as well as up to four 400 square feet customizable wet laboratories; the space is offered at competitive rental rates for up to three years. Direct access to the University of Georgia’s National Environmentally Sound Production Agriculture Laboratory and conference /admin facilities, as well as technological, research and business assistance are just a few of the benefits of locating in the incubator space.

The rental term is 90 days, with automatic renewal for another 90 days as long as the tenant abides by the rules and regulations of AgIC. We use a graduated rent structure that increases every 12 months; during the third year, incubator rent will be similar to office space rent in the surrounding community.

Our center has a partnership with Georgia's Department of Economic Development and with many local, regional and state organizations, including Chambers of Commerce, the University System of Georgia, the OneGeorgia Authority, the Georgia Department of Education, the Governor's office, the Department of Technical and Adult Education and many more.
